My community is the Champlain community. There are many contact zones at Champlain, including the cafeteria and the dorms. Contact zones, according to Pratt are; "social spaces where cultures meet, clash, and grapple with each other." Here at Champlain, we meet many people who come from different cultures and communities than ourselves.
